Horror Games?

I was just wondering if anyone else was into horror games? Llike:
Resident Evil
Penumbra
Silent hill

I try to avoid horror games if i can but a friend made me play Fatal Frame I and II
and i feel in love with them.
The Japanese know Fear, that's for sure

I heard them mention "Fatal Frame" on Stay Alive, talking about it was a really scary game . I have wanted to play it since then.
I just don't understand how they can make a game and make it so scary.

Besides being scared they offer alot more than usual games. For example, usually the story line is way more developed, and the game-play is new and exiting, and really detailed. Also when something happens and scares you, it makes you feel more like your there and experiencing it, standard games can't do this. How meny times have you felt like you were in mario?

wow, i agree totally.

i mean, i hate being scared- usually because that fear stays with me afterwards-as did fatal frame- but that fear did make me feel more involved in the game.
